Schumer Says Budget Will Get Passed This Year For The First Time In Three Years

"WE ARE GOING TO DO A BUDGET THIS YEAR," predicted Sen. Charles Schumer of New York, "for the first time in more than three years."

Despite warnings by Republicans that they will not go along with any more tax increases, "We're going to do a budget this year and it is going to have revenue in it, and Republicans ought to get used to that," Schumer told NBC.

Schumer made this announcement on Sunday.
