From Jay Leno To Jimmy Fallon, "Tonight Show” Big On “J’s” – Remember ‘Here’s Johnny?

Jimmy Fallon's take-over of "Tonight" is official! He's replacing Jay Leno as host of "The Tonight Show" in spring 2014 and will move the show to New York, NCB announced.

It set the record straight on several fortnights of bzzzzzzy signals on the show's future. Lorne Michaels, executive producer of "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" will take over as exec producer of the replacement show.

Leno has used the mike's might since 1992 with only a brief (but messy) interlude with Conan O'Brien hosting.

Leno told him, "Congratulations, Jimmy! I hope you're as lucky as me and hold onto the job until you're the old guy. If you need me, I'll be at the garage!"
