At 50s and older, hair is more fragile and more likely to break or suffer from exposure to UV rays and other stresses.
Poor tresses being stressed...with hormonal shifts at fault. (Did you ever hear a hormone?) Older hair may need to be cut every six to eight weeks to look its best. Every two to three months is probably enough for younger hair.
